Daily homework assignments should be written in student planners. Here you can find an overview of what we are learning in each of the classes taught by Mrs. Wright. If your child has another teacher for a content area class, please visit their website or contact them for questions regarding homework. This Week: Reading Focus: Greek Mythology Identify character traits. Compare and contrast characters, setting, events, and theme within Greek myths. Project: Greek Myth Presentation Due May 18th 5th Grade Homework Expectations: The 5th Grade team assigns homework that is directly connected to material taught in our classrooms. On average, each student will have 50 minutes of homework per night. The 50 minutes should include 30 minutes of math homework (ixl, flipped video viewing, other content practice) and up to 20 minutes of subject area homework. The 50 minute time frame may fluctuate depending on your child's individual study needs and work completion style. If you child is regularly falling out of this time parameter, please communicate with us. World War II Exploration
